Artists and crafters are invited to apply for the upcoming Downtown Art Fair, set to take place on September 13–14, 2025, at Rotary Square in the heart of Traverse City. This annual event, which has been expanded for the new year, offers a prime opportunity for creative individuals to present their work to a diverse audience.

Coinciding with the first-ever Traverse City Mural Festival, this juried art fair promises to draw art enthusiasts and provide a weekend brimming with artistic activities. Participants will benefit from high exposure in a vibrant celebration of visual arts, featuring a wide array of disciplines, all within the bustling atmosphere of one of Michigan’s most dynamic downtown areas.

In addition to the art fair, attendees can look forward to live mural installations along the Eighth Street Corridor. A community mural experience will also be available onsite, allowing the public to engage in creating a large-scale collaborative artwork under the guidance of a featured artist or collective.

Selected artists will be allocated a 10x10 booth space in Rotary Square, where they can display their creations. The event is designed to appeal to both serious art collectors and casual shoppers, with a focus on quality, originality, and handmade artistry.

Applications are due by April 30, and interested artists are encouraged to apply early to ensure their participation in this exciting event.
