National Sculpture Society
- Founded in 1893, the purpose of the NSS
is to further the evolving tradition of figurative sculpture in America.
Recent public commissions by NSS members include: the Korean War
Memorial by Frank Gaylord, the Vietnam Women's Memorial by Glenna
Goodacre, and the U.S. Navy memorial by Stanley Bleifeld. The NSS also
offers on-going exhibitions, publications, scholarships, and resources.

The
Helen Lempriere National Sculpture Award
- The Helen
Lempriere National Sculpture Award, developed from a bequest managed by
Perpetual Trustees and named after the late Australian artist, Helen
Lempriere, is the richest art prize for sculptors in Australia.
Under the terms of the Will of the late Mr. Keith Wood, husband of the
late Helen Lempriere, artists are invited to submit a sculpture in
competition for the annual Helen Lempriere National Sculpture Award. The
winner will use the grant to further their education and skill in
sculpture. The winning artist's sculpture will become part of the
Lempriere Collection and will be permanently sited at Parks Victoria's
Werribee Park.
