Catiebelle Bulmer Wins Viewer’s Choice at Paint the Town 2025

Excitement is in the air as Paint the Town in Hawley has announced the winner of the Viewer’s Choice competition. The artwork titled “Cozy Winter Studio Dreams” by Catiebelle Bulmer has captured the hearts of the public and will be prominently displayed on one of the 12 new art banners for 2025.

The selection process was thorough, with a jury carefully choosing 11 pieces from a total of 80 submissions by 31 talented regional artists. Following this, the public played a crucial role by casting over 300 votes, ultimately selecting Bulmer’s piece for the 12th banner.

In addition to Bulmer, the artists whose works will be featured on the 2025 banners have been announced. The lineup includes Jill Carletti, Barbara Carpenito, Tom Holmes, Rich Klein, Lilli Millon, Adam Parkes, Michael Seiden, Ellen Silberlicht, Connor Simon, Raul Vega, and Kathe Williams.

The vibrant new banners are set to be installed in May 2025, just in time for the Hawley Memorial Day Parade. Alongside these, the banners from 2024 will also make a return. Until the installation, the details of the artworks will remain under wraps, with more information about the artists and their creations to be revealed on the Paint the Town webpage.

Paint the Town, Hawley is a vibrant art initiative located in Hawley, Pennsylvania, and is led by the Wayne County Arts Alliance. This project is a collaborative effort involving the Downtown Hawley Partnership and the Foundation for Harmony Presents, aiming to enrich the community with artistic expression.
